Hello All, I hope everyone had a good time sleeping in these past few Saturdays but we are pleased to inform everyone that the macroscale meetings will be opening back up on Saturday May 30th. We will be meeting in the Stauffer Lab at York Hall at 9am and the meeting will last until about 2 or 3pm. At Saturday's meeting we will be showcasing our newly built 5 gallon reactor. Trust me, this is a must see. It's a beautiful piece of machinery, if I do say so myself. Along with the unveiling, we will be trying to make some biodiesel as long as we have a heating belt. We already have some filtered oil and methoxide mix, so all we have to do is put it in the reactor, figure out a good way to wash the product, and hope for the best (as if it were that easy). There will be plenty of opportunity to get some hands on with the reactor and if you get some ideas while you're there, let us know and we'll have plenty of conversation for the meeting.
