Class examines use of biodiesel

Today's green students are well-versed in eco-activism

We were mentioned in an article on 4/21 the in San Diego Union Tribune about local university students being green. "Earth-friendly UCSD student activists are building a device that converts cafeteria grease into biodiesel to power their automobiles."

Biodiesel as an Educational Tool

We are organizing a seminar about utilizing biodiesel in and out of the classroom. Meagan Moore will talk about the UCSD Greenline and Cameron Coates will talk about the processor he is working on with UCSD students. Jon Karanopoulus from San Diego's Sci Tech High and his students will be talking about what they have been doing with biodiesel and why.
