Hey All, Since we are going to be using heavy equipment this coming quarter, I would like everyone to read over, sign and return this student waiver. This is a rather informal waiver, but I advise everyone to take this very seriously. There might be some typos, so sorry in advance. If possible, can I get these back on Saturday. Hey Everyone, Thanks for making the move to Mount Soledad smooth and easy. Moving all of that material couldn't have been done without your help.=) If you guys didn't get chance to participate, no worries, as we will be seeing a lot more of Mount Soledad this quarter. For microscale, we did a lot of what I would call "playing." We tried to bend a piece of 1/2" copper pipe around a cement pole outside in the parking lot, drilled some holes in the steel acetone cans, and mimicked a reflux column with soft copper tubing. Hey Everyone, We'll be having a joint macroscale and microscale tomorrow, Saturday, April 17th. It will be a long day, so don't feel obliged to stay the whole time. We'll be moving our stuff from the EBU II laboratory at 8AM and bring it up to Mount Soledad. Meet in the faculty parking lot in Revelle near CLICS before 8AM, say 7:50AM, and then we'll go over to the EBU II lab, then up to Mount Soledad. Afterwards, we'll have a microscale session at our usual time 12-5 at the usual lab place, York 1146. -Mark
